Yachting Pages celebrates best-ever year

Yachting Pages Media Group has enjoyed its “best-ever year” after smashing sales records and achieving unprecedented results in 2022, cementing its position as the anchor in an ever-shifting and growing industry.

The renowned superyacht search engine and marketing services agency has flourished in the past 12 months, thriving as a result of continued investment and a return to normality after two years of COVID-19 restrictions.

A combination of record-breaking sales figures, extraordinary website traffic, optimal levels of client satisfaction, a brand-new CRM and continued team development has propelled the business to new heights this year.

Yachting Pages has welcomed more customers than ever before across its range of marketing and advertising solutions this year - it recorded its best sales figures of all time at Cannes Yachting Festival in September and METSTRADE in November. The brand’s core products, the Yachting Pages print directories, Yachting Pages Online and Yachting Pages Delivers (YPD), have proven as popular as ever among new and returning clients, while the fresh digital marketing services have been in exceptional demand.

The Yachting Pages website has amassed more than 2.5 million page views and in excess of 700,000 sessions, the highest total of all-time, while great results have also been achieved in SEO, email marketing and social media and PPC campaigns. Its YPD service delivered 5,750 pink packs directly to superyachts across France, Italy, Spain and the Balearics, and the USA, with more deliveries to yachts at anchor than ever before.

An ever-growing number of businesses have been choosing to work with Yachting Pages since the coronavirus-enforced regulations that prevented most international travel through 2020 and 2021 were eased. Steve Crowe, Yachting Pages’ CEO, believes that marine businesses have demonstrated a hunger to make up for lost time and have turned to brands they trust to accelerate their post-pandemic growth.

“With a large presence on the ground in superyacht hubs around the Mediterranean during the pandemic, we got a clear sense of just how keen businesses were to return to normality in 2022,” Crowe noted. “This served as motivation to enhance our core products and, in 2021, we presented a new suite of digital marketing services in preparation for the industry boom we were anticipating.”

Knowing that exposure is vital to businesses that want to stand out in a saturated market, Yachting Pages honed each of its products to ensure it could provide the best possible results for clients.

“Since improving each product, we have seen long-time clients commit to further Yachting Pages advertising and a host of new businesses choosing to get on board. Yachting Pages print has seen impressive levels of advertising, including from a number of businesses that appeared in our first-ever directory in 2003, while Yachting Pages Online, the world’s largest superyacht search engine, has achieved huge sales success this year too. Clients are benefitting from record-breaking levels of traffic across the website and we anticipate this continuing into the new year.

“Elsewhere, our newly launched digital marketing services have been very excitedly received by businesses as they seek to enhance their online presence. We have implemented dozens of successful, tailored campaigns for brands across the industry via our specialist pay-per-click (PPC), search engine optimisation (SEO), email marketing and social media advertising. They have been blown away by the results and the relationships they have formed.”

Alongside the improvement of its product offering, and as a result of its new services, Yachting Pages has expanded its team. Since January, seven new starters have joined the business, with the website, digital marketing and production teams among those to be strengthened. There will be a further three new starters in January, including an experienced website developer and an SEO specialist.

There has also been investment in a new office at the brand’s headquarters in Bristol, England, and new laptops have also been purchased for each member of the team.

With an improved team and a larger portfolio of clients than ever before, Crowe is targeting further success in 2023.

“We’ve had our best year ever and everybody associated with Yachting Pages can be truly proud of their efforts, it has been fantastic,” he noted. “I truly believe that this is only the beginning, however, and that we can continue to soar in the years ahead. We have very talented teams throughout the business and I have no doubt that, collectively, we can take things even further in 2023.

“We’re committed to providing the best possible results for our clients while continuing to devise innovative solutions to the challenges that businesses encounter in the superyacht industry. With record-breaking results and a team of experts to call upon, there has never been a better time to work with Yachting Pages.”
