26 North Yachts employs new hires for new charter venture

Brokerage firm 26 North Yachts, has hired new sales executives and a new director of charter to represent its new business model, On Demand Yachting.

According to the brand, sales executives Matt Stone, David Ingram and Jackson Willet, and new director of charter Will Synder, all bring years of industry experience to the table and are reflective of its new and innovative business model, designed to remove all the hassles of purchasing and owning a luxury motor yacht.

The brand shared that On Demand Yachting, 26 North Yachts’ new business model, is a unique approach combining yacht sales, yacht management and yacht charters all under one roof.

Nicholas Scherb, co-founder of 26 North Yachts added, “If you are interested in buying a yacht and want to offset the expenses by putting her in short-term charters, we can show you how to do that, by signing up with our charter fleet.

“If you already own a boat, you can sign her up for chartering or for management. If you sign up for a management package, you may want to include charter down the line, to offset expenses, or to showcase your boat when it becomes time to sell.

“In an industry that is known for its rich traditions, we don’t mind shaking things up a bit with a business model that hasn’t been seen before.”

Mike Carlson, co-founder of 26 North Yachts said, “Our approach is unique in that we offer an integrated model, in which all three aspects of yacht ownership work together to the benefit of the owner”.
