A 29-metre (95-foot) classic yacht known as Halcyon has caught fire in Marina Gouvia, Corfu. No injuries have been reported.
According to local reports, the fire broke out on 7th September at around 4pm local time on board a 20m (65ft) sailing yacht and continued to spread to several other yachts in the vicinity.
Other yachts involved in the fire included a sailing catamaran and a speedboat. The incident is taking place on P pontoon of Gouvia Marina, the most northerly area of the marina.
Firefighters have been working to extinguish the flames, with five fire engines and boats working to contain the fire. Authorities are also trying to implement floating protection nets to minimise pollution.
