In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
The second edition of the Thailand Charter Week has been scheduled for 12th to 15th November 2021, with the hope that the country’s COVID-19 situation will allow it to go ahead.
The organisers, the Thai Yacht Business Association (TYBA), hope that this second event will be larger than the first edition held in November 2019. The venue remains the same at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, which can accommodate superyachts of 100 metres (328 feet) or more.
The programme for Thailand Charter Week includes an opening ceremony on 12th November followed by two days of on- and off-water displays at the marina. On 15th November all yachts will participate in a cruise to Phang Nga Bay before returning to the Yacht Haven marina for the closing party.
Thailand Charter Week is a B2B event and as such is not open to the general public as it is offered exclusively to bona fide charter brokers, central agents, luxury travel agents and tour operators, and is aimed at promoting Thailand as an international charter destination.
Matthew Na Nagara, TYBA chairman, believes the second edition could grow with more space for yachts and word-of-mouth recommendation from exhibitors and attending brokers. “The Thailand Charter Week was a strong first edition of what will become a regular and important part of the yachting calendar in Southeast Asia,” he said. “We’re happy with the general format, the line-up of yachts and exhibiting charter companies, and the wide range of attending brokers from around the world.
An all-new website for Thailand Charter Week 2021 will be available soon. An organising committee of TYBA members will run the event with the participation of leading international charter brokers and other local charter companies.
