British design studio Peter Bolke Design has collaborated with Ocean Independence on a 46-metre (151-foot) anti-radar vessel named Stealth.
Led by Bolke, whose career includes a stint spanning more than 20 years as a designer at Dubois Naval Architects, Peter Bolke Design has developed the exterior design and naval architecture for the project.
Stealth will be built in aluminium and feature “striking naval styling” and the opportunity for significant buyer customisation. A pleasure yacht, she will have a 499GT interior and has been configured as a “counter-measure to the standard superyachts currently available”.
On-board accommodation will be for up to 10 guests across five cabins, which includes a full-beam master suite. The crew quarters will house a staff of up to eight across four twin cabins.
With a beam spanning 8.9 metres, Stealth will be powered by 1200hp TBA engines for a top speed of 16 knots and a range of 4,800 nautical miles at 13 knots.
No yard is yet attached to the concept, though it is believed Peter Bolke Design would prefer a British builder to be involved with a prospective launch date of 2020.
In a statement, Ocean Independence described Stealth as “an exciting, bold and innovative design from a design house with fresh, as well as practical, ideas.”
