63m Explorer Yacht EXO unveiled by Liebowitz & Partners

UK-based yacht designers Liebowitz & Partners have unveiled the 63-metre (206-foot) Explorer Yacht EXO. The full-displacement steel ship has a potential range of 5,000 nautical miles, and was designed with endurance, capability and reliability in mind.

The proportions of the vessel artfully balance volume, windage and circulation. The design brief for LP Design included the following priorities; contemporary, functional, exuding strong attitude and timeless proportions.

Notable features of the Explorer Yacht Exo include advanced direct-bond glazing for ease-of-maintenance, state-of-the-art shade devices, a wide range of exterior gathering zones and features, a Portuguese bridge, thrilling observation deck, and more. The vessel will also feature quiet running machinery for propulsion with the latest hybrid diesel-electric technology.

Richard Liebowitz, project designer at LP Design, said, “Each functional and aesthetic element should work to reinforce the underlying concept.”

The superyacht’s interior boasts an optimised layout to offer balanced accommodation, enchanting amenities and an effective and practical service arrangement. The passageway to the owner stateroom is a museum-like space that welcomes the opportunity to securely display the owner’s favourite art and objects.
