95m Lürssen superyacht Kismet returns to London’s Canary Wharf

Joining the spectacle of the towering skyscrapers in London’s Canary Wharf this week is the 95-metre Kismet. Built by Lürssen, she is owned by American-Pakistani billionaire Shahid Khan, who owns the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team and Championship football team Fulham FC.

Moored in West India Dock, the superyacht passed the O2 Arena before navigating the narrow entrance and lock and mooring up in the heart of London’s iconic financial district.

This isn’t the first visit to Canary Wharf for Kismet; in fact, just last year, it did exactly the same thing. Both this visit and the last have been around the same time that Shahid’s NFL team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, have competed at Wembley Stadium for the International Series; this coming Sunday they square off against the Baltimore Ravens. 

Kismet’s trademark Jaguar will likely be making another appearance on the bow in a show of support for the owner’s team, as it has done previously.

The symbolic superyacht was launched by Lürssen in 2014, and features exterior styling by yacht design expert Espen Øino, with its lavish interior designed by Reymond Langton.
