In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
The Algerian government has started to ease the safety measures it implemented to limit the spread of COVID-19 by allowing more businesses to re-open and allowing public transportation in cities to resume. However, Algeria has always been able to receive leisure yachts coming to the country to fuel and the country is now preparing for an influx of such vessels.
Zouhir BourouaÏ, managing director of yacht agent and bunkering specialist SOGEMCO, said, “Now that superyachts inside European marinas and shipyards are getting ready to sail again, we feel it is important to remind captains and professionals alike that Algeria stays open and safe for superyachts wanting to fuel here.”
Many of the yachts that are based in Palma over winter get ready for the summer by visiting Algeria, which has the closest ports outside the EU, due to the advantageous costs and quality of fuel.
“Fuel in Algeria is half the price of fuel in Palma, and SOGEMCO has offices in all of Algeria’s ports and all the staff working for our company are fully employed by us. We also have a COVID procedure in place that will include a visit from sanitary authorities; the yacht will also have an agent alongside during the whole time to avoid any unnecessary contact with mainland.”
