Andrew Weir Yacht Management announces new AW Crewing Services department

AW Group’s Andrew Weir Yacht Management has announced the establishment of new AW Crewing Services department due to the growth of the group’s technical management operations.

Set to operate from its Isle of Man offices, the firm has established AW Crewing to offer clients further services alongside its existing management solutions for commercial and private yachts,

The new division will offer crew employment and provision of MLC-compliant seafarer agreements, offshore crew payroll arranged via AW Crewing (Guernsey) Ltd, worldwide crew logistics and scheduling, crew sourcing for all ranks and local flag representation for yachts flagged in Isle of Man.

Bryan Hampson, director of AW Crewing Services said, “We offer a full crew sourcing and management service, drawing from the highest calibre of global candidates, including luxury silver-service hospitality to engineers, deck crew and security staff.

“All crew employed via AW are fully STCW certified in medical first aid, fire-fighting, passenger safety and security management and are fully compliant with national and international regulations including Flag State medical requirements.”
