Antibes Yacht Show Hard at Work Preparing 2012 Show

The Antibes Yacht show has been hard at work throughout the year to prepare the 2012 show and has announced new developments in their team, website and projects for the show.

 

Antibes Yacht Show is reinforcing its team with the arrival of Stéphane Trabet, he has joined the company as ‘Commissaire Général’.  He comes from the Luxury Hotel Industry and will help the organisers to take the next step up in becoming the most important event at the beginning of the season. His connections to the luxury industry and to high profile individuals should increase the attendance of potential buyers to the show.

 

For 2012, Antibes Yacht show will further develop the Seminar Area, devoting it a special zone.  On Friday April 13^th, Antibes Yacht Show has the ISS (International Superyacht Society) in cooperation with the PYA (Professional Yachting Association) and MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association) holding a seminar. The Antibes Yacht Show will be the first European yacht show to host such informative seminars.  Having always encouraged professional networking during the event, discussions and round tables are more than welcome. Antibes Yacht Show tries to increase the intellectual value at the show every year.

 

Also to promote the show and its exhibitors, Antibes Yacht show will set up a Media Centre. Members of the web press and the radio such as Superyachttimes.com, Yachtsxl and Riviera Radio will interview some of the exhibitors, partners and visitors of the show.  These interviews will either be broadcast live or on air the next day to maximise the media coverage of the show.

 

A new late evening will take place on Friday April 13^th. Exhibitors will be able to welcome their clients and visitors, to host cocktails on their stands or yachts until 9:00pm.

 

Sunday, the last day of the show, Antibes Yacht Show organises a Yacht Hop. The brokers will have the possibility to present their yachts in a fun and entertaining way. 

 

Finally, Antibes Yacht show is also enhancing its website with the AYS Network , a platform reserved to exhibitors, partners and visitors, to exhcnage the latest news to get in direct contact with each other and facilitate meetings before the show.
