Arcadia YachtsArc has chosen the Cannes Yachting Festival as the setting to unveil plans for a new line of steel-hulled superyachts under the name Gamma FOR.TH – one of three lines now on offer by the Italian shipyard.
Standing for Forward Thinking, the first hull is a 47m with aggressive styling, designed in collaboration with Hot Lab Studio – the team behind the successful A100+ model.
The first hull of Gamma FOR.TH will have a maximum beam of nine-metres. She encompasses large glass surfaces and open transoms on her main and upper decks to ensure contact with the surrounding environment.
On board, usable space is concentrated slightly forward of amidships to allow for ample space on her after decks, giving both sunlit and shaded areas.
Plans for her interiors are open and contemporary, with spacious salons interacting cleverly with exterior spaces to create a feeling of space without barriers. There will be an exclusive owner’s suite of 512m with office and private terrace, along with four guest suites on her lower deck. Guest accommodation is made up of two VIP suites and two twin-berth cabins with private bathrooms.
Plans also include a sundeck of 782m, and black-painted bodywork that merges with the glass prisms with integrated solar panels that make up her bridge windscreen - a traditional Arcadia feature for an environmentally friendly approach to yachting.
On the forward half of the deck, a transparent Jacuzzi wrapped by a C-shaped sunbathing area is proposed, while two linear settees and a central table are set of the after part of the deck. The bar is set centrally to serve guests next to the pool. There is another bar set on her 432m upper deck, shielded by a laminate structure that lets the sun filter through when desired.
Her sky lounge features integrated skylights and full-height side windows that slide forward until they disappear completely, allowing guests inside to feel the sea breeze.
Notably, the Gamma FOR.TH includes a separate dining area similar to the typical layout found on yachts over 70m long, connected to the kitchens below by means of a pantry to ensure discrete attendance by the crew.
Her stern opens through a set of sliding glass doors to reveal a gym or spacious beach-deck area.
