According to Arcadia, the 16.8m Sherpa has been designed with flexibility in mind. She has practical abilities and custom configurations to appeal to a range of clients, namely those in Mediterranean seaside villas who may be seeking a day-cruiser, superyacht support vessel or smaller superyacht to be used over the weekends.
With her LOA at 16.8m, and with a beam of 5.5m, Sherpa offers a generous tender garage with a volume of 247 cubic feet for her size. She has a semi-displacement hull type, developed by Arcadia in partnership with Volva Penta, providing high performance and fuel efficiency.
Depending on the owner’s chosen application for the vessel, Sherpa has an option of two different superstructure options, including an open deck for day-cruising or a salon deck that has been designed for long-distance cruising. She offers a one, two or three cabin layout, with the two-cabin layout of hull number one currently on display at Boot Düsseldorf.
A special version of the Sherpa has also been designed for the Asian market, with larger shaded outdoor areas.
Hull number two of the Sherpa model is currently under construction, with a scheduled delivery to take place in March 2016.
