Henderson, Australia-based shipyard Echo Yachts has unveiled its eagerly awaited project White Rabbit, an 84-metre (275-foot) trimaran superyacht constructed over the past four years.
White Rabbit’s unveiling took place at a ceremony inside her main build shed which was attended by VIP guests, including the yacht’s new owner and their family.
Once launched, White Rabbit will be the largest superyacht ever built in Australia and the largest tri-hulled private motor yacht on the planet. As well as an impressive LOA, she boasts a spacious 19.6-metre beam and an internal volume of almost 3,000GT.
Australian studio Sam Sorgiovanni Designs is responsible for White Rabbit’s eye-catching exterior lines, with ALIA Interiors creating a jaw-dropping experience inside. One2Three Naval Architects developed the technical specifications for complete comfort and stability, even while cruising over long distances.
Echo Yachts’ director Mark Stothard said at the ceremony, “We are confident that this unique trimaran will produce outstanding performance and provide distinct benefits compared to other hull forms in terms of sheer guest space, plus sea keeping and fuel efficiency which we intend to prove during sea trials in the near future.”
Echo Yachts is expecting to launch the superyacht in September and then deliver to her owner before the end of 2018.
