Baglietto’s 43m Fast yacht receives restyle

La Spezia-based shipyard, Baglietto has restyled its 43m Fast yacht, significantly increasing her volume and enlarging her windows.

Thanks to her hard top, a new covered area has been gained on the flybridge, while the shortened superstructure brings a comfortable sunbed area aft of the main deck. Other key changes of the restyled yacht include a lowered bulwark.

Michele Gavino, CEO of Baglietto explained how important the Fast model has been to the company. He said, “Working with great designers makes us extremely proud. The 43m Fast is a yacht that has played a crucial role in Baglietto's history and this restyling makes it even more attractive for those who love Baglietto's distinctive high-performing style.”

Other upgrades to the Fast include a beach club and two foldable balconies that open onto the sea from the main deck.

The Fast model is part of the eponymous range that also includes 38m and 46m models designed by Francesco Paszkowski. This follows the yard launching 46m Lucky Me in 2016, which became the flagship of this line.

Her power comes from twin MTU 12V4000 M93L engines, allowing her to reach a maximum speed of 28 knots and cruise at a speed of 25 knots.

Previous upgrades to the 43m Fast model, include a sleek line surrounding all the windows on the lower deck rather than portholes. This can be seen on 43m Fasts such as M/Y Pachamama, which is currently for sale at an asking price of €19,500,000.

Although the asking price for this new model has not yet been announced, the previous 43m Fast model was put on the market with an asking price of €21 million in 2015.

Baglietto currently has another 48m under construction at its facility, following the recent delivery of 48m Andiamo earlier this year, and has recently sold a 54m custom build to an American owner.
