Baltic Yachts has announced the launch of its 175 yacht, Pink Gin VI, which is now the world’s largest carbon composite sloop.
Having been transported from Baltic Yachts’ inland manufacturing site at Bosund last month, she was launched at the waterfront yard in Jakobstad today (12th May). According to a press release from Baltic Yachts, the all-carbon 245ton sailing yacht is now being “prepared for the stepping of her five-spreader, carbon fibre mast”. The mast itself was created by specialists, Rondal.
Standout features on board Pink Gin VI include two fold-out balconies, able to be accessed from her topsides, along with “remarkable accommodation design” says Baltic Yachts, and a powerful sloop rig, which towers 68m above her deck.
No further details are currently available for Pink Gin VI but Baltic Yachts revealed in a press release last month that she is now due to be delivered to her owner in mid-summer.
