Baltic Yachts to create new motor yacht range

Baltic Yachts, one of the world’s leading custom composite yacht builders, announced a new branded range of powerboats during last week’s Dusseldorf Boat Show.

Three models have been created, ranging from 24 to 41-metres in length; all of which will have accommodation for eight to 12 guests and six crewmembers. MTU will provide the drivetrain for the first Baltic motor yachts, with the goal of achieving a top speed of 24 knots.

Baltic Yachts is best known for the high levels of engineering and build technology that go into its light displacement sailing yachts, such as Visione and Black Pearl.

The first model in the series is the Baltic 112MY, which is a raised pilothouse design with a large sundeck sporting a cocktail bar and room for three sun loungers aft. The main deck houses interior and exterior dining areas, a lounge, as well as the owner’s cabin with walk-in wardrobe. 

The guest accommodation below deck will be offered in two layouts; either as a pair of full-beam staterooms, or split into two double cabins and a pair of twin cabins.

Other notable features include broad-side decks and a transom garage with room for a tender and a Jet Ski.

Baltic’s new power models will be built to order at its high-tech facility in Ostrobothnia, Finland.
