Below Deck Down Under season two to film in April

Filming on season two of Below Deck Down Under is due to commence in April – and producers are scouting for a new range of guests.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the production company behind the show are on the hunt for ‘adventurous guests’ who will revel in the underwater activities the Australian spin-off will focus on. It is this aspect that separates it from the other editions of the show.

Season one of the series has yet to air, but it is expected to drop on streaming service Peacock in the near future.

Senior vice president of current production Noah Samton said last year what viewers can expect from the show.

“Not only is it down under in terms of being in Australia, but a lot of the show is literally being filmed underneath the water in the sea paradise that is the Great Barrier Reef,” he said.

“There’s a lot of diving, scuba diving, snorkelling spear fishing and the cast actually gets involved in a lot of the diving excursions.”
