Benetti announces three new designs at Yachts Miami Beach

Benetti has announced three new concepts at the recent Yachts Miami Beach show, as part of its new ‘Now Fast’ range.

All three concepts feature exterior design by Omega Architects, with interior design by Enrico Gobbi from Team For Design, and naval architecture from Mulder Design. The BF164 is to be built entirely from aluminium, while the BF184 and BF224 featuring a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

The collection features three fast displacement yachts: 50m BF164, 56m BF184, and 68m BF224. All three yachts are designed to reach speeds in excess of 20 knots, with transatlantic cruising speeds of 12 knots.

Frank Laupman from Omega Architects said of the partnership, “I think we are developing a common language together, which makes us both stronger.”

The BF224 in particular will feature classical styling, with light oak woodwork and accents of Tiffany blue. Standout features include a foredeck helipad, open sundeck or raised pilothouse. There will also be a spa pool located on the upper deck, and large Jacuzzi on the aft deck.

The Now Fast collection follows Benetti’s Now collection, first revealed at Monaco Yacht Show 2016.
