Benetti delivers third Mediterraneo 116 motor yacht Botti

Italian shipyard Benetti has announced Botti, the third hull in its Mediterraneo 116 superyacht series, was delivered to her owner on Friday 4th May.

The 35.5-metre (116-foot) motor yacht, featuring a fiberglass displacement hull and a carbon fibre superstructure, was first launched in March this year.

Exterior design came from Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta, while Benetti’s Interior Style Department partnered up with the architects Radcya for the interior. The Mexican owner also assisted with the choice of furnishings and fabrics. Fine fabrics, wooden details in warm colours and soft lighting were selected to create relaxing settings.

The main driver of the interior design in the communal spaces – for owner and crew – is social interaction. Her main deck includes comfortable lounge, dining area and an American-style bar. Light also forms an integral part of the interior decor and floods into the spacious rooms through large glazed surfaces.

Additional features include a Sky Lounge furnished with a sofa, a 75-inch TV and a game table, as well as a personalised sun lounging area and a large Jacuzzi on the upper deck.

Accommodation allows for up to 10 guests split across five generous staterooms, including the master suite – which dominates the full-beam and has been fitted with a walk-in wardrobe and a studio with a sofa and television. Two VIP cabins with double beds and two guest cabins with sliding twin beds and Pullman beds can be found on the lower deck. Meanwhile, crew accommodation can house up to seven staff across three cabins.

Botti’s power comes from twin diesel 1400hp engines to allow for a top speed of 15 knots. Her range at 10 knots is over 3,000 nautical miles, making M/Y Botti ideal for long stays on board in unparalleled comfort.

The model has proved to be one of Benetti’s most successful to date, with the sale of the fourth unit recently closed in Asia.
