Benetti launches debut Diamond 145 motor yacht Ink

Italian shipyard Benetti has launched the first Diamond 145 yacht, named Ink, in a ceremony at its Viareggio facility.

The 44-metre (144-foot) displacement yacht features exterior lines designed by Giorgio M Cassetta, with interior styling by Salvagni Architetti, in collaboration with the yard’s interior style department.

Benetti’s flagship fibreglass motor yacht, Ink can accommodate up to ten guests across four cabins, as well as crew in a separate area.

Her interior comprises sliding glass doors which open out onto the beach club.

Exterior designer Cassetta, commented, “Diamond 145 springs from a project with a mission to improve life on board not only for owners and guests but for all the crew too. The sheer size of the yacht has made it possible to adopt an impressively ergonomic approach that ensures a majestic stance, while embracing ultra-modern details combined with a style that reflects the concept of a timeless yacht.”

Ink will be powered by two 1,400 hp Man engines, providing a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots, with a range of 3,600 nautical miles.
