In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Before 2018 drew to a close, Italian shipyard Benetti launched the fourth hull in its growing Mediterraneo 116 series, which has been christened Good Day.
Featuring exterior design by Giorgio M. Cassetta, the 35.5-metre (116-foot) displacement yacht was launched at the yard’s Viareggio yard. It comes after she was sold in August 2017.
Cassetta, who also handled the exterior design of the first three Mediterraneo 116 yachts, created “sinuous and slim lines” with the yacht’s fibreglass hull and carbon fibre superstructure.
The shipyard’s own interior style department was tasked with implementing her interior design, with significant input from the owner.
Throughout the yacht the décor boasts three wood elements: tay, tanganyika and elm. In the bathrooms marble details and mosaics were also used – these include Travertino, Shara Noir and Port Laurent.
Accommodation is for up to 10 guests split between a full-beam master suite on the main deck and four guest staterooms on the lower deck. Six crew members will be accommodated across three cabins forward on the lower deck.
Good Day also boasts sofas and a dining area with a table for 12 in the main saloon, which also includes a relaxation area, complete with a swimming pool.
Power comes from a pair of MAN V12-1400 engines, which allows for a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
