Benetti sells its first 44m flagship yacht

Italian shipyard Benetti has sold its first 44-metre (145-foot) Diamond 145, since unveiling the flagship yacht last year.

The vessel is currently undergoing construction in Viareggio, ahead of scheduled delivery in the beginning of 2020.

Part of the yard’s Class product line, Diamond 145’s sporting exterior was designed by Italian architect Giorgi M. Cassette. Featuring considerable glazed surfaces, the concept enhances the brightness of the yacht’s interiors with natural light and highlights her visual length. Meanwhile Salvagni Architetti led the interior design of the vessel.

The motor yacht presents five cabins, accommodating up to ten guests, as well as providing room for seven crew members. The master suite is situated at the main deck’s bow area, complete with a sizeable wardrobe, full-beam bathroom and an office.

Meanwhile amidships presents the galley and services area, with a large saloon aft, with the dining area sitting on the upper deck.

Diamond 145’s power is provided by two 1,400hp Man engines, enabling her to reach a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.
