In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
American yard Bering Yachts has revealed details of its latest superyacht concept and the flagship of its Coastal range, the Bering Coastal 105 — a 32m steel and aluminium yacht.
Characterised by a wave-piercing, semi-displacement hull with vertical prow, and a long, narrow entry, the 105 is, according to the yard, designed to slice through the waves with minimal fuss. The yacht builder also shared that a deep forefoot will stop any “slamming”, even in rough conditions.
The 105 has a maximum beam of 8.25m, which gives a spacious interior for her length, and provides accommodation for up to eight guests and four crew on board.
Her interior design balances modern touches with warm features. The most notable deck of the 105 is arguably the sundeck, which is accessed via a staircase leading up from the cockpit. Here she features extensive sunbathing spaces, a full bar area and tender storage.
Other notable features on board include large windows on either side of her main saloon, a modern galley that flows seamlessly into the dining area, and a pilothouse forward to complete her main deck layout.
All accommodation is below deck, including the owner’s suite with en-suite bathroom.
The 105 is powered by a pair of 400hp Cummins QSM11-KC engines which give a top speed of 14 knots. At 10 knots she is expected to boast a maximum cruising range of 3,500nm, thanks to her fuel capacity in excess of 25,000 litres.
