Burgess appointed central agents for brand new expedition yacht Safira

Burgess has been appointed exclusive central agents for one of the world’s newest and most interesting ‘go anywhere’ custom-built expedition yachts. ABS classed and MCA unrestricted with an ice-strengthened hull, the 39.3m (129ft) SAFIRA is a global explorer with remarkable engineering, excellent seakeeping qualities and a host of ‘green’ attributes.

Available for both charter and sale, SAFIRA is a high specification vessel, as impressive in her technology, design and styling as in her commitment to an environmentally conscious approach to superyachting. In commissioning the yacht, her experienced owners sought to balance comfort, quality and style with a reduced carbon footprint. SAFIRA successfully ticks every box and such are her capabilities that journeys as far apart as Iceland and the South Pacific are already planned.

SAFIRA accommodates 10 guests in five cabins with the full beam master suite located deliberately below decks amidships, the position of least movement on board: perfect for those who prefer staterooms for sleeping rather than admiring the views. All have ensuite bathrooms.

In terms of toys, SAFIRA comes with everything expected for long range luxury: a fully equipped gym, spa pool with cocktail table at arm’s length, and a bar and relaxation space that doesn’t confine guests in one sedentary location. The yacht carries an armada of tenders and toys including a  7.6m  Hunt Harrier tender with a fuel efficient Yamaha Volvo outdrive that burns just nine gallons per hour at 30 knots; a Doughdish sailing dinghy; a copy of a Herreshoff 12.5; a 3.6m Nautica rescue boat, two paddleboards, fishing gear and several kayaks.

With a range of 8,000 nautical miles at 8.5 knots, and designed for supremely comfortable living on even the longest journeys, SAFIRA is set to take on the world. Any location, any latitude, at almost any time.

SAFIRA is available exclusively for sale and charter through Burgess as Worldwide Central Agents.

The asking price is 32,000,000 US Dollars
