Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
The world may be different due to the global pandemic, but Yachting Pages Media Group carries on as usual. The renowned Yachting Pages Print is the world’s leading superyacht resource, and the marine industry’s global purchasing reference, recognised worldwide by superyacht captains, crew and associated decision-makers. Yachting Pages Print is found on board 97% of the world's superyachts.
Yachting Pages Print grew by 5% last year with a record number of 23,000+ businesses listed, proving that print is most certainly not dead.
For 2021, they are returning to their pre-COVID distribution schedule, which aligns with the ‘superyacht season’ in each zone.
Published annually in three regional editions, Yachting Pages’ directories cover all corners of the globe. The Mediterranean region issue has a print run of 20,000 and the sales deadline is fast approaching on 15th February.
Simon Brooks, field operations manager, oversees the distribution of Yachting Pages.
“Working around the pandemic this year has been challenging, but ultimately not caused significant changes in our distribution strategy. Time on the ground has been in line with previous years, feedback from all parties within the yachting industry consistently positive, and all our pre-COVID 2020 targets have been achieved. Attitudes towards us and our presence was as ever welcoming and positive. Many individuals we met on the ground were surprised to see us, and impressed by our continuity. As Winston Churchill said, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” We seized opportunity and gained valuable sector visibility, whilst achieving our pre-COVID targets through no shortage of hard work and perseverance.”
It’s a testament to the hard-working Yachting Pages team that the publication has continued to grow despite the difficult global circumstances, and they are looking forward to the year ahead.
