The 45m superyacht Tanit – originally built in 1967 by Camper and Nicholsons as ‘Terancar Nitani’ – has been sold. She underwent a significant refit in 2007 in which Lucio Fontana and Arnaldo Pomodoro undertook her sophisticated interior design.

Once painted all white, in 2007 her exterior was transformed to feature a navy blue hull – a ‘symbol of her nautical excellence’. Showcasing the combined design expertise of Lucio Fontana and Arnaldo Pomodoro, her classic modern interior offers large, open spaces, ideal for entertaining or unwinding.

A bar area can be found in her main salon – an area styled with light wood cabinetry and a neutral palette – with striking artwork offering the finishing touches to her luxury. Tanit has been upgraded each year by her dedicated owner, who ensured no desire is unaccounted for on board this ‘floating paradise.’

Accommodation for up to 12 guests is provided in six staterooms, minimalist in design to maximise relaxation. Exceeding the one-crew-member-per-guest ratio, Tanit travels with a large, experienced crew of 14.

She was listed for sale by Edmiston, with the company representing both the buyer and the seller in the deal. At the time of sale, she was listed at an asking price of €4,950,000.
