In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Italian yard Canados has expanded its fast-planing range of Marco Casali-designed yachts with the Gladiator 822.
The 24.99-metre (82-foot) yacht retains the versatile deck spaces that Canados has long been known for, whilst also boasting a modern and sleek aesthetic.
Its design features include twin staircases that lead up from the large bathing platform to a spacious aft deck cockpit, creating one large entertainment space thanks to a three-pane sliding door.
Moving forward and the curved windshield features an opening central panel for direct access to the foredeck seating area, arranged with sofas and sunpads.
In Canados’ standard layout, below-decks accommodation is for up to eight guests across four cabins, including a full-beam master suite. It has a couple of three-cabin alternatives, but a bespoke option is also available.
Gladiator 822 is offered in a choice of four different engine packages, with the largest 1,900hp MAN V12 setup estimated to be capable of a 44-knot top speed.
Also available is a triple engine configuration with hull and deck made entirely of Kevlar and carbon fibre reinforcements that will allow for a staggering top speed hovering around 60 knots.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Italian yard include the Canados Evo 888, which is scheduled for an April 2018 launch.
