Carbon Fibre Blind set for Boot Dusseldorf

Oceanair will be showcasing its latest concept at Boot Dusseldorf 2013; an all Carbon Fibre Venetian Blind, suitable for superyachts and luxury properties.  Carbon fibre is being used with motor cars, aviation, boat building, and according to Oceanair, it has never been used as a blind material before.

Oceanair explained, “Light, smooth, thin, glistening UV resistant carbon fibre, manufactured via the highly efficient filament winding technique, not only makes this new style accessible, but also maximises the visual benefits of the carbon.”

A new SKYSCREEN Roller Surface will also be on the stand.  The new model is consistent with the contemporary style of Oceanair’s SKYSCREEN Pleated product, meaning both products can be installed onboard and will both be consistent in their styling.

Finally, Oceanair has announced a complete leather range of window treatments. In addition to the leather Venetian blind, Oceanair now offers both a Roman blind and Openshade roller blind manufactured in faux leather.
