Carnival Liberty 3 debuts at Taiwan International Boat Show

At the end of last year, Horizon Yachts launched the first of the new RP110 series, Andrea VI,and at the recent Taiwan International Boat Show the second yacht in the series, Carnival Liberty 3 was debuted.

According to Horizon Yachts, the RP110 has quickly become one of their most popular models, with two vessels launched, two more contracted and under construction and hull number five already in discussion with clients.

Horizon Yachts claim that part of the reason for this success is the ability to simply customise each yacht. Starting with an efficient, voluminous hull designed by the renowned Donald Blount and coupled with Horizon’s flexibility as one of the top custom yacht builders, the RP110 can be tailored to meet a wide range of cruising lifestyles and requirements.

Carnival Liberty 3 has a custom bait well built in and five staterooms, with the master cabin on the main deck. Andrea VI has an air conditioned fly bridge with opening screens and is configured with four staterooms, allowing for a full beam master cabin below and a country kitchen forward on the main deck.

The interior decor can be completely constructed around an owners wishes; the famous designer Luca Dini has been involved so far, along with JC Espinosa for the exterior styling.

Both yachts launched to date have been fitted with Cat 32A 1900Hp engines which provide a top speed of around 22-23kts and a comfortable cruising speed of 18kts.

As standard, most owners are opting for Zero Speed stabilisers, a large water maker capacity and waste water treatment, with extras such as frequency converters easily added when required.
