CCN superyacht Elsea begins sea trials

The 49.9m Cerri Cantiere Navali flagship superyacht Elsea has been pictured under power for the first time out on her pre-delivery sea trials.

Sold by Imperial Yachts in February 2016 and launched last month, Elsea has an aggressive yet slender profile, built with an aluminium semi-planing hull. She is a fully custom project that features exterior styling by Studio Bacigalupo and interior design by Studio Vafiadis.

Speaking last year, Diego Michele Deprati, CEO of the Italian shipyard said, “Elsea was an important challenge for us as it opens up a new course. It is the first one-of-a-kind motor yacht that marks CCN’s debut in the world of bespoke projects – unique masterpieces that respond to the customers’ requirements for full customisation.”

Elsea offers two saloons of contrasting styles; the lower saloon with a formal dining space for 12, and the upper with a welcoming circular sofa for relaxing and entertaining.

There is accommodation on board for up to 10 guests across five staterooms, including an owner’s cabin, VIP suite, two doubles and a twin room. Crew quarters accommodate a staff of 11.

Elsea is powered by two triple MTU 16v 2000 M94 engines that are estimated to output a top speed of 27 knots.
