Columbus Yachts announces sale of first Atlantique 43 unit

Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has announced the sale of the first 43-metre (141 foot) Atlantique unit to a European client less than two months after the launch of the new line.

As the first of a series of three boats, the Columbus Atlantique incorporates a combination of stylistic design and functional elements. The interior layout chosen by this client can host 10 people, with four VIP cabins in the lower deck and the full beam master cabin positioned on the main deck. With its large panoramic swimming pool and hull silhouette reminiscent of sailing yachts, Atlantique 43 is a boat designed to mould to the exacting requirements of the owner.

The “sailboat-style” stern of the Atlantique 43 has been regarded as its most distinctive area, made complete with the whole area being on the water thanks to the choice of "digging" the aft section. By taking it to just 50 cm from the sea, Columbus Yachts intends to enhance the feeling of direct contact with the natural environment.

Inside the Atlantique 43, the main saloon is characterised by two relaxation areas. The first is furnished with a large C-shaped sofa and a smaller sofa adjacent to the entrance, the second is designed to replicate a cinema with a large sofa facing an 82'' wall TV.

To complete the Atlantique 43, a number of eco-friendly solutions such as solar panels and a low fuel consumption populsion system have been designed with sustainability in mind. Keeping these factors in mind results in minimal negative impact on the environment, and also the benefit of saving energy at every turn.
