Couach reveals designs for new 3700 Sport model

French custom yacht builder, Chantier Naval Couach has released the first visuals of its newly reimagined 3700 Sport superyacht.

Describing her as “intelligent, modern and seductive”, the 37m superyacht is one of the company’s longstanding popular models, with six custom-built models having been delivered so far. As such, Couach has “taken a step back to assess and update the yacht’s designs in order to satisfy today’s tastes and trends”.

Walter Ceglia, CEO at Couach said, “Between presence and power, the 3700 Sport Couach is a sporty and elegant yacht. Our in-house creative and technical teams have reinterpreted its identity and design to come up with a yacht as intelligent and modern as it is seductive.”

According to the yacht builder, the new 3700 upholds the “admired sport and seaworthy DNA” of her predeceasing models, and the overarching design philosophy of all Couach custom yachts, with lengthened lines and a strengthened profile.

She takes design cues from the luxury automobile market, as well as contemporary architecture and naval design. She is available with a four or five-cabin layout, which is enhanced by ample glazing to increase natural interior light.

The newly designed 3700 Sport offers a large main saloon with lounging and dining areas, giving a fantastic feeling of space for a sport yacht or her size; able to accommodate up to ten guests and six crew members.

The released renderings of the 3700 Sport’s interiors suggest an ethnic and light design theme, with a neutral palette of wood finishes, hand-crafted details and luxurious materials. As a custom yacht, these can be tailored to any buyer’s tastes.

The Couach design team focused on creating a yacht that offers a “chic yet cosy ambience” for owner and guests. Suspended ceilings enhance the feeling of height in the cabins, with outstanding attention to detail throughout.

The exterior offers a range of areas, including the addition of sun pads to the foredeck from the earlier Couach 3700 Fly to provide a new, private space for relaxation.
