Curacao Marine expands facilities

Curacao Marine, a leading shipyard in Curacao, has recently announced the expansion of its shipyard facilities with the arrival of a new 60 ton Roodberg trailer. The new slipway trailer will be in operation as of mid-January 2014.

Using the new equipment, Curacao will now be able to service larger monohulls as well as multihulls, and will be able to haul out yachts up to 80 feet (24.4M), weighing up to 60 tons. The new Roodberg trailer, which joins two existing 40 ton trailers, now offers the yard the following benefits:

• 20 feet (6M) monohull / 40 feet (12.1M) monohull
• 7 feet (2.1M) depth
• Fully adjustable, durable and safe
