D-Marin to operate Montenegro’s Portonovi Marina

Turkish company D-Marin has struck a deal with Azmont Investments to operate Portonovi Marina from January 2018. The superyacht marina is designed to serve boats up to 120 metres (394 foot) and boasts a berthing capacity of 238.

With this new contract, Portonovi Marina, situated within the Portonovi Resort in Montenegro, will offer comfortable accommodation and amenities to all its guests. Fully equipped with the ‘most advanced technology and features’, it will also provide a wide range of high-end services, including customs entry.

It was reported in 2017 that Azmont Investments, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Global Investments (AGI), has invested a total of 221 million euros ($274.4 million) in the development of the luxury Portonovi resort since 2012.

The resort spans across 26 hectares of land and, alongside the marina, features the luxury One & Only hotel, private villas and numerous spas and restaurants.

D-Marin is a subsidiary company of Dogus Group, which manages 10 marinas in the Ionian, Aegean & Adriatic Seas.
