Dutch yard Damen has launched the first hull in its SeaXplorer77 line, 76.9-metre (252-foot) expedition yacht La Datcha.
La Datcha will leave the yard’s facility in Romania to be transported to the Netherlands for outfitting.
Damen’s largest SeaXplorer superyacht to date, the 2,560GT hull is owned by Russian businessman Oleg Tinkov. Azure Naval Architects worked in collaboration with the yard’s in-house team of engineers to design her exterior.
The six-decked superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins, as well as an additional 25 crew members. Guides and pilots will be part of the crew on board to help operate the range of impressive equipment, including a submersible, tenders, toys and aircraft.
La Datcha is scheduled to be delivered in 2020.
