In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
British studio Design Unlimited has released details of its latest concept MC155 trimaran, revealing a model that aims to combine business and pleasure. According to the studio, the project is now ready to go into production.
The idea was developed by McConaghy Yachts, in partnership with naval architect German Frers. Frers developed all aspects of the naval architecture and exterior styling, while Design Unlimited provided the interior décor styling.
Measuring 46.8m, the trimaran will meet LY3 and MLC regulations, and will have a maximum speed of 24 knots, with a range of 2,500 nautical miles cruising at 14 knots.
The MC155 concept can accommodate up to nine guests in four cabins, and a maximum of six crewmembers in the crew quarters. As for the master suite, the space extends across the entire upper deck with an en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobes and private gym.
Her 11.3m beam allows a smooth transition between the interior and exterior spaces, excluding the private deck space which is accessed via glass sliding doors.
The aft deck will be sheltered and complete with a bar area, infinity pool and two staircases leading down to the large swim platform, which provides easy access to the sea.
The design has already undergone extensive development stages, with tank testing taken place in Potsdam and Germany.
