Destry Darr Designs nominated for prestigious award

One of the superyacht industry’s leading interior designers, Destry Darr Designs, has announced that the 120’ Nordhavn “Aurora” has been selected as a finalist for the three prestigious awards.

She will be competing for best new displacement motor yacht in the under 500 GT category at the World Superyacht Awards in Amsterdam on 3^rd May 2014.

In addition to the World Superyacht Awards, she is up for best overall design and exterior styling by Jeff Leishman, PAE’s chief of design, and his team, as well as for Best Interior Design by Destry Darr Designs at the International Yacht and Aviation Awards in London on 9^th May, 2014.

Jeff Leishman commented, “It’s absolutely thrilling for us to be recognised for our achievements. Aurora is a very special yacht, the culmination of a huge effort by a huge team of people we are pleased that the world is being exposed to how exceptional she is.”

The Design Awards can be voted for at thedesignawards.co.uk and the winners are due to be announced in London this May.
