American yard Nordlund Boat Company has released full details of its 35.05-metre (115-foot) Nordlund 115 Expedition project, which is due to launch in late 2018.
Her naval architecture comes courtesy of Ed Monk Jr. and Tim Nolan Marine Design, who worked in close collaboration with the owners, the captain and the yard.
The Nordlund 115 Expedition yacht will feature a fully-specced sportfishing cockpit, complete with bait tanks, custom rod lockers and tackle storage.
Further forward, al-fresco relaxation options have been incorporated in the design, with an aft settee and casual dining for up to eight guests, as well as an icemaker and a day head.
Inside, the main deck features a large seating area for up to 13 people to enjoy the entertainment centre, which is equipped with a trio of 65-inch screens. A transparent elevator is also on-board to provide easy access to all three decks, with a spiral staircase with steps that appear to float in mid-air enclosing this spectacular feature.
On-board accommodation is for up to eight guests across four cabins, including a main-deck master suite featuring his and hers en-suites, a walk-in wardrobe and a 65-inch television. The crew quarters will house up to five members of staff.
The Nordlund 115 Expedition will feature twin Frahm tanks in the lower aft corners and a zero-speed fin stabilisation system to ensure a smooth ride, both underway and at anchor. Power will come from a pair of 3,200hp Caterpillar engines for a cruising range of 3,000 nautical miles at 14 knots, drawing on a total fuel capacity in excess of 30,000 litres.
She will be the second-largest Nordlund yacht to date, behind 36.88 metre Southern Way III.
