Dometic Marine names new director of sales for Commercial Marine in North and South America

Dometic Marine, a division of the Dometic Group, a global provider of products for the marine industry, has announced a new director of sales for Commercial Marine.

As a 27-year veteran of the business, Ben Haynes has been promoted to Dometic director of OEM (original equipment manufacturer) sales, focusing on commercial, military and custom boat builders in North and South America.

His new role will see him responsible for leading commercial and workboat projects, involving a wide range of Dometic equipment, including HVAC direct expansion and chilled water, air purification, engine-room ventilation, sanitation, water makers and refrigerators.

The Commerical Marine OEM sales team will work with builders and integrators in several areas of the commercial industry, targeting oil and gas vessels, tug boats, military, state and government vessels, ferry boats, cruise ships and many more.

Ned Trigg, senior vice president of global system sales at Dometic Marine said, “Ben Haynes’ leadership will allow us to leverage and expand our already strong product lineup, and deepen our relationships with commercial and workboat builders throughout North and South America. He is a true solutions provider who will bring considerable value to builders across the region.”

Haynes added, “Dometic has been building rugged, innovative marine products for over 50 years, across all sectors of the industry. Our offerings for commercial and workboat builders are extensive, providing builders with a single supplier through which to streamline their purchasing, engineering and support.

“Builders and integrators are particularly impressed with our engineering support and consultation, 3D model drawings for all of our equipment and extensive worldwide service network. We also have one of the best warranty programs in the industry.”
