Global marine technology supplier Dometic Marine has won a DAME Design Award for its new WAECO CRX refrigerator at this year’s METSTRADE Show, in the Interior Equipment, Furnishing, Materials and Electrical Fittings Used in Cabins category.

Dometic’s CRX marine refrigerator has a removable freezer compartment, and offers boat owners a three-in-one solution. The refrigerator’s patented design allows users to slide out the freezer to provide a larger capacity fridge-only unit, or the temperature can be reduced to 17 degrees Fahrenheit, providing a freezer-only unit.

The CRX also features a flush-mount electronic thermostat control panel, located on the interior side wall, and an electronic three-speed variable compressor to ensure optimum performance and noise reduction.
