Leading marine HVAC supplier Dometic Marine has announced the promotion of Martin Rouen to marine original equipment (MAOE) sales manager for France, South Africa and parts of the Middle East.
Effective from 1st January 2015, the new role for Rouen has been created to further growth OEM sales following recent contract successes for premium Dometic brands Cruisair and Marine Air Systems in the OE sector.
Rouen, 30, will be fully dedicated to the MAOE business in France and will sell Marine Air and Cruisair products, with a specific remit to focus on expanding the company’s existing customer accounts. He has been promoted from MAOE Dometic sales engineer, France, after joining the company in December 2008.
He will be assisted in his new position in France by main purchaser Pascale Jeanmougins, logistics manager Patricia Davril, marine after-market manager Emeric Monnier, for quality related issues, and sales and administration assistant Céline Deschamps.
Julien Lefeuvre, head of marine OEM - EMEA, Dometic said, “We have had a positive year with our MAOE customers and I am confident that this new appointment will further strengthen our position in this sector and contribute to more OEM sales success.
“Having just completed a business course at HEC Paris and with a strong engineering background, Martin has many attributes to bring to the role. He is also highly creative, entrepreneurial and has good interpersonal skills.
“I know Martin is very capable of meeting the challenge ahead and wish him the best of luck in his new position.”
