e3 have appointed a new full-time manager Mark Smith to run their branch office in Antigua. Mark will bring with him, and merge into the e3 business, his existing land based Island I.T. clients. These clients, who range from private individuals to businesses and resorts, will form the base from which e3 will develop their land based business in parallel with their existing successful marine business.
Mark has lived in Antigua for a number of years and, as such, has a good knowledge of the island and the Caribbean from both the land and marine perspectives. He has worked as an engineer on yachts and has a technical I.T. background in addition to being an accomplished musician. Some regular visitors to Antigua may have come across him as the drummer in the new local Antiguan band Urban Hustle and formerly in Itchy Feet.
Roger Horner, Group Managing Director of e3 Systems, commented: “We are very pleased indeed to have Mark running our business operations in Antigua. He is an excellent guy with many attributes who has already slotted into the e3 team and together we have a great potential to build a continuous 12 month business both in Antigua and across the Caribbean. From the beginning of the winter season he will be supported by Clark Dyke and Becky Morgan from our Palma office. He will also have on his team Michael Smart, our locally based technician, who has now completed two years of training with e3 and we are looking to appoint a new office administrator. Now that we have a 12 month business we will be able to recruit and train more local technicians to e3 standards to fulfil the needs that the market demands.”
