To be built as a modern-day superyacht, the Australian shipyard will use its experience in building large trimaran superyachts to offer clients a vessel with a ‘vast amount of interior spaces’ and ‘outstanding ocean-going capabilities’, inherent of such multihull platforms.
The new 120m will have notable exterior features, such as a touch-and-go landing pad on the foredeck, and an additional sundeck helipad. On board she will have a rotating master stateroom section and a large cinema. She will also be equipped with an outdoor dining area for up to 26 guests, as well as a separate outdoor entertainment area for her owner, complete with private swimming pool, gym and spa.
As expected of such a large vessel, the 120m will have a large tender garage forward to house a fleet of tenders.
She will be equipped with at-speed ride control and at-anchor gyro stabilisers for a smooth ride, reducing the amount of roll and movement on board, and a hybrid propulsion system that will give her a top speed of 20 knots and a range of 5,000nm.
The yard is still currently working on its 84m trimaran build M/Y White Rabbit, which will soon be the world’s current largest trimaran and all-aluminium yacht.
