Eidsgaard Design & Compass Tenders win Design Award

Eidsgaard Design and Compass Tenders recently received the Showboats award for Best Tender Design 2012 and have revealed what an honour it was to pick up the trophy. 

Peder and Ewa Eidsgaard of Eidsgaard Design and Richard Faulkner of Compass Tenders were delighted to receive the accolade for the 9m Limousine Tender for M.Y Tango.  They explained; to be honoured with a Neptune Trophy is to be acknowledged as the best in our category, within an extremely demanding industry.

The tender was said to deliver on every level of the judging criteria including, appearance, mechanical installation, functionality for purpose, ease of lift aboard the parent craft and overall performance.

The Tango Limousine was the first to be built by Compass Tenders, in conjunction with Eidsgaard design, Edmiston and EYOS and has seating for up to 10 guests.  Since the launch, it has had a successful Mediterranean and Caribbean season.

The Tango Limousine features a champagne fridge, bar facilities and air conditioning for both cooling and heating.

Two 11m tenders and a 7.35m D-RIB are under construction for delivery in early 2013, with several other projects in the pipeline.
