A 63-metre (207-foot) Espen Oeino-designed superyacht named North Star has been launched in Turkey.

The yacht, which is Bureau Veritas and full-MCA coded (LY2), has a beam of 11.5 metres and a volume exceeding 1400GT.

Her interiors have been designed by RWD and on-board accommodation is for a total of 12 guests across six cabins. The crew quarters can house up to 17 staff.

North Star will be available for charter through Edmiston later in the year.

Edmiston broker Simon Goldsworthy, who sold North Star, explained that the launch had been “a long time coming”.

“[North Star is] a genuinely stunning yacht. I have no doubt that when she’s fully revealed to the world in the spring with a finished interior she will be very well received by the industry.”

North Star is now undergoing sea trials before she makes her world debut at the MYBA Charter Show in Barcelona in April.
