Yachting Aftersales & Refit Experience (YARE) have reported an excellent turnout for the 12th edition of the event.
The international yachting event is dedicated to refit and aftersales operations, organised in Versilia by NAVIGO, and has been a network of innovation and development for yachting. The event held over 1000 in-person meetings between captains, with 60 companies attending from Mediterranean and North European countries.
Shipyards and suppliers had the opportunity to present their services and products while building relations and starting new contacts. Great appreciation also came from the captains, approximately 100, for the visits to shipyards and local companies, as this edition of YARE involved the entire production district from Livorno to La Spezia.
Katia Balducci, president of NAVIGO, said, “This 12th YARE came to an end with excellent results. It reaffirms the efficacy of a format that we have launched many years ago and that was able to attract the attention of the international audience since the very first editions.”
Over 250 participants attended the Superyacht Forum Live (Captains Edition), organised by the international media partner The Superyacht Group. Workshops provided open discussions on major issues related to the industry and were led by expert speakers.
The exhibition held in Carrara Seatec Compotec Marine saw the organisation of the RINA training day at CarraraFiere fair ground, and the new format B2B Booster which took place in Viareggio featuring extra meetings between suppliers and local shipyards.
Pietro Angelini, general manager at NAVIGO, commented, “The collaboration with IMM Carrarafiere is the first step towards an integrated process of all the nautical events taking place along the coast, and not only in Tuscany, but among the main international hubs of the superyacht sector.”
