Exhibitor spaces now open for 2016 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show

Exhibitor spaces are now open for the 2016 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show (SCIBS), one of the largest boat and marine lifestyle events in the Asia Pacific region.

SCIBS will take place in the Gold Coast area of Queensland, Australia, and will feature some of the world’s premier marine brands.

According to organisers, the show injects up to $148 million into the local economy and attracts nearly 40,000 visitors to the display of boating and marine products.

SCIBS 2016 will run from 19th to 22nd May 2016, with a raft of changes due to be implemented based on visitor and exhibitor feedback from previous years. These will include new rates, new zones and additions to the layout which is supposed to add to the impact of exhibitor spaces and enhance the overall visitor experience.

Dominic O’Brien, sales and exhibition manager of SCIBS was enthusiastic about the layout for the 2016 show, including a brand new dedicated waterfront precinct called ‘The Boatyard’, with over 1600sqm of prime display space.

He commented, “We have created a dedicated space for this boating size range, so whether entry level or premium, visitors will be able to view all the latest models all in one exciting location.”

The show will also feature a dedicated ‘Supercar Street’, with a covetable display of sports, convertible, luxury, prestige and supercar vehicles. According to Johan Hasser, general manager of SCIBS, this will complement the display by major sponsor Maserati EuroMarque Brisbane.

Hasser also explained, “We aim to give visitors maximum value for their ticket price. Along with exceptional world and Australian launches of a myriad of boats and accessories, we have created even more reasons to come back in 2016.”
