Explore in luxury on the Scenic Eclipse superyacht

Scenic Eclipse, sometimes referred to as a ‘discovery yacht’, is a massive 168-metre (551-feet) superyacht, built by Uljanik shipyard in Croatia and owned by Scenic.

The cutting-edge superyacht features its own two helicopters, a fleet of zodiac boats, kayaks and a submarine for ultimate exploring opportunities. During the voyage, she will travel to 68 ports, spending half the year in Antarctica and the Arctic.

The submarine, Scenic Neptune, is capable of taking explorers down 300 metres, which is the depth of the Eiffel tower and enough to view a change in underwater sea life. Scenic works with ministries of environment and culture to secure dive permits enabling the exploration of underwater reefs and shipwrecks.

She has been years in the making, and now voyagers can have unlimited luxury whilst combined with exploring the remote wonders of the world.  Scenic Eclipse has room for 228 passengers with 114 cabins, and a sizable suite including a living room, veranda and butler service.  The €10,000 (£8,688) per-night two-bedroom owner’s penthouse suite measures a vast 2,659 square feet. Spa suites include a double sized Jacuzzi, steam shower and light therapy.

Scenic Eclipse encapsulates luxury travel; during the voyage vacationers can soothe themselves in the 5,920-square-foot senses spa with Scandinavian-style pools, a gym and Pilates studio and a hair salon. They can also indulge in ten different restaurant cuisines, or spend time in the built-in theatres.
