The highly secretive Feadship in-build Project 706 has been photographed for the first time.
Spanning 49.5 metres (162 feet), the superyacht was potted manoeuvring down the Dutch canals en route to Feadship’s outfitting yard in Aalsmeer.
Key details on the project remain undisclosed at this point, however the yard has confirmed that the yacht will be fully aluminium. It is also understood that the beam will measure 7.8 metres.
It is widely anticipated that Project 706 will become one of the fastest Feadships on the water, thanks mainly to the three water jets that will enable competitive top speeds. Construction work should be completed in 2020.
News of Project 706 outfitting comes just days after Syzygy 818 began sea trials.
