In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Dutch shipyard Feadship has launched one of its largest superyacht projects to date: the 93-metre (305-foot) Project 814.
Under construction for the past five years, the yacht was finally unveiled for the first time as it took to water on Saturday 19th October at its Royal van Kent facility in Kaag, the Netherlands.
Project 814’s owners, who were present at the launch, said, “We want to thank Jan-Bart Verkuyl and everyone at Feadship for taking us on an amazing journey.”
Michael Leach Design and Reymond Langton were commissioned to design the exterior and interior of the vessel respectively. De Voogt Naval Architects designed the vessel’s naval architecture.
According to the Dutch yard Project 814 will “set a new standard in luxury”. The yard continued describing the interior design as “akin to a beautiful and contemporary jewellery box”.
Project 814 is due to undergo further work, such as the addition of balconies and wing stations, which will be installed in the coming months. She will remain covered during the winter.
With most details about the newly launched vessel still under wraps, Feadship has revealed Project 814 has a 14.1-metre beam and will boast a number of outstanding features.
Some notable features will include a two-deck IMAX theatre, fully certified helipad and four VIP cabins. She will also be equipped with a number of sports facilities for golf, basketball, volleyball and football.
Feadship assured that Project 814 will be seen on the water by spring 2019 in all her “splendid glory”.
